Background

As part of a course project, my group received the challenge of creating a webshop where you could purchase and customize your own footwear. We later refined this concept to specifically focus on sneakers to better define the product category.

Project: Creation of an online store for personalized sneaker design.


Objective: Allow customers to express their unique style by designing and purchasing their own sneakers.


Summary: The focus was to create a smooth, inspiring, and intuitive design experience for users.

Problems

Identified during the initial analysis and research:


User Challenges:

Difficulty finding the design tool on the website.

Too many options can overwhelm users.

Slow page loading time.


Opportunities:

Improve navigation and visibility of the CTA (Call-to-Action).

Create an intuitive interface focused on visual hierarchy.
